One of our longest standing Bears, Marie has represented Warwickshire throughout all the age groups through to now captain of the women.

As one of the most consistent batters in the country, she earned herself a professional contract with the regional women’s side, Central Sparks before now moving to Loughborough Lightning, and contracts with Birmingham Phoenix and Trent Rockets in The Hundred.

Marie has been a part of the Emerging Players Programme, Women’s Academy and the Warwickshire Academy. During this she was also part of the England U19 Development Programme where she made her debut against Sri Lanka Women in 2013.

Marie has also represented England U19 in a tour to South Africa as well as touring Abu Dhabi with the MCC.

Her cricketing highlight was becoming national T20 champions in 2019, leading by example and top-scoring in their must-win final game against Lancashire to secure victory for her side.

It was an incredible season for Marie, not only being the leader run-scorer for her beloved Bears, but also claiming the top run-scorer for the country, resulting in her being voted ‘players player’ at the conclusion of the season.
