As a member of the legendary 1994 treble team, a fine aggressive batsman and perhaps the best slip-fielder ever to represent the club, Ossie needs no introduction to Bears fans.
Since retiring as a player he has built a big reputation in coaching and that expertise is now being felt at Edgbaston in his role of Women’s Team head coach. He was thrilled to take on the role with his beloved Bears in October 2018.
"Warwickshire Women have been performing well for several seasons," he said. "Now it's time to move up to the next level and I think the players we have here are very much capable of that.
"There is no doubt we have quality in the squad. Part of my role is to build up the girls' belief and turn that quality into a winning mentality."
