Liam Norwell arrived at Edgbaston in the autumn of 2018 with a strong track record from eight seasons at Gloucestershire and a burning desire to take his game to the next level.
The Bournemouth-born seamer has impressed good judges for several years with an ability to generate pace and bounce which has brought him 248 first-class wickets at 26.97 apiece.
In 2017 he really showed his quality with 59 championship wickets at 17.39 and that is the sort of exciting talent that convinced the Bears to sign him up.
For Liam, the decision to join Warwickshire was easy. "Straight away the ambition of the club was clear and I found that very appealing," he said. "Warwickshire is a club which wants to challenge for trophies in all formats and that's really exciting. There is a real sense of something building and I can't wait to be part of it. "
