Jonathan Trott has been an incredible asset to Warwickshire CCC over the past 14 years, since arriving in 2002 he has made headlines, scored runs, taken wickets and written himself into Warwickshire folklore.
In his early years at Warwickshire, Trotty played through the Second XI (scoring 245 on debut) before establishing himself as a batsman in the top order of the first team.
Trotty exploded onto the international scene in 2009 when he made a maiden century on his test debut against Australia. From 2009 until 2015 when he retired from international cricket, Jonathan Trott was regarded as one of the best #3 batsmen in the world. His temperament and skillset were nothing short of world class and his performances helped England top the Test rankings.
Since returning to Warwickshire CCC Jonathan has contributed some great batting performances and behind the scenes he has acted as a mentor to many of Warwickshire’s emerging players.
