Highly-rated from a very young age, Dom graduated from the youth system at his native Surrey before joining Warwickshire midway through last year in a move which took Rikki Clarke in the opposite direction.
Opening the batting, he was part of the three-pronged run-injection which transformed the Bears' T20 campaign last summer. While Ed Pollock and Adam Hose supplied the explosive hitting, Sibley provided the perfect foil with run-gathering of quiet effectiveness and class. He also scored his first two half-centuries for the Bears in championship cricket.
Able to adapt his batting style to any format, and also chip in with some spin bowling, Dom is an exciting prospect with a very bright future. Appointed vice-captain during the winter, he is seen as one of the foundation stones of the next era of Warwickshire cricket.
