A potent string to the Bears bowling bow

Swindon-born ‘Milo’ first came to the Bears’ attention in a County Championship match for Gloucestershire at Edgbaston in August 2018 when his five-fer included the rare, if not unique, feat of dismissing Ian Bell and Jonathan Trott in the same over!

He signed for Warwickshire weeks later and enjoyed a  magical season in 2021, bowling beautifully in red and white-ball cricket.

He forced himself to the forefront of the T20 bowling plans while in the County Championship, his 37 wickets at 21.81 apiece were a huge factor in the Bears lifting the title.

“I played at Edgbaston for the first time in 2018 and the stadium and the whole set-up was so impressive.”

He ended the 2021 season with a spellbinding morning at Lord’s. On the first day of the Bob Willis Trophy, Lancashire were reeling at 12 for six after Milo took out three of the top six for ducks on his way to five for 28.

Miles has claimed 134 scalps for Warwickshire in all formats and in 2023 chipped in with 10 valuable Vitality Blast wickets, including his T20 best of 4-29 in the win over Northamptonshire Steelbacks.
