We’ve linked up with FBC Manby Bowdler and Marco-Pierre White to offer Members and Bears’ fans a chance to vote for their Warwickshire County Cricket Club Player of the Month. For July we have the following nominations:

Ian Bell

The Birmingham Bears captain has scored 209 runs in eight NatWest T20 Blast matches, including 75* in the opening game against Worcestershire Rapids, 50 against Northamptonshire Steelbacks, and 47 versus Notts Outlaws.

Sam Hain

Sam has continued to show his white ball dominance with 228 runs in the eight NatWest T20 Blast North group matches this month. Scoring 47 against rivals, Worcestershire Rapids, 34 in the win against Derbyshire Falcons, and most recently a 57 away at Leicestershire Foxes.

Grant Elliott

Our new NatWest T20 Blast signing has hit the ground running with bat and ball, scoring 170 runs at an average of 56.66 with a crucial 45* in the 176-run chase against Lancashire Lightning. He has also taken nine wickets at an average of 20, including a best of 4-37 against Derbyshire Falcons.

Jeetan Patel

With 12 wickets in eight games, and only one game where he hasn’t taken a wicket, Jeetan been the most consistent bowler for the Bears in the 2017 NatWest T20 Blast,with a best performance in our opening home game against Notts Outlaws where he took 4-22,including the top three wickets of Michael Lumb, Alex Hales, and Riki Wessels.
