Warwickshire County Cricket Club has released fast bowler Recordo Gordon following the end of his contract with the club.

Recordo (24) signed for the Bears ahead of the 2012 season after initially representing the club at the under 15s age group and progressing through the Development of Excellence programme.

He made his First Class debut against Oxford MCCU at the Parks in 2013 and went on to make five County Championship appearances. In white ball cricket he helped Birmingham Bears reach successive NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day in 2014 and 2015, making 25 appearances, and also played 12 List A games to help Warwickshire reach the Royal London One-Day Cup Final in 2014 and 2016

Recordo Gordon, said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last five years representing my home county and playing with so many fantastic cricketers.

“I would like thank Warwickshire for giving me the opportunity to become a professional cricketer. It has been a great period in which I have grown as a cricketer and person and I look forward to the next chapter of my career.”
