Warwickshire begin the Specsavers County Championship season in exactly one month when they travel to the Kia Oval to take on Surrey on Friday 7 April, before playing their first home game at Edgbaston a week later against Yorkshire on Friday 14 April. This year also includes a historic first round of day/night matches in the Specsavers County Championship with Warwickshire taking on Lancashire at Edgbaston on Monday 26 June.

Ian Bell and the rest of the squad will be hoping to successfully defend the Royal London One-Day Cup which this year has been brought forward to the spring – meaning all the group matches will be played before the ICC Champions Trophy in June. Warwickshire will be in action on Bank Holiday Monday 1 May v Durham, Friday 5 May v Notts Outlaws, Sunday 7 May v Lancashire Lightning and Sunday 14 May v Yorkshire Vikings.

Birmingham Bears 2017 NatWest T20 Blast home campaign will begin with our first ever Saturday night fixture, against last year’s tournament semi-finalists Notts Outlaws. The Bears’ have been given a superb allocation of games at Edgbaston in 2017, with all seven matches to be played across weekends with three falling on the popular Friday nights. The Bears take on Worcestershire Rapids in the big local derby on Friday 4 August in what will be a fixture not to be missed.
