Warwickshire County Cricket Club has signed a new partnership with digital platform CricHQ to be an official partner of the club for the next three years.

From April 2017, all matches within the club’s senior men’s and women’s teams and county age group sides will be scored live on CricHQ, giving supporters of the club access to a greater range of live scores and in-play statistics than ever before.

Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director of Warwickshire CCC, said: “Working with CricHQ ensures that Warwickshire and Birmingham teams at all levels and age groups are now scored through this same digital platform.

This partnership covers all teams within the club and allows players, coaches and supporters to view the team scores and stats online or through the CricHQ app.

“The ability to view live scores for our senior men’s team has been in place for several years, but this partnership covers all teams within the club and allows players, coaches and supporters to view the team scores and stats online or through the CricHQ app. It also moves much of the paper-based match day administration from our county age group teams to a central online resource.

“As part of the commercial partnership, we’re planning a series of sessions for affiliated clubs and league, which can learn more about CricHQ and discover how the competition management platform can transform administration within the recreational game.”

To follow the live scores through the summer, Bears’ supporters just need to visit the Warwickshire CCC page on CricHQ or via the app, then register and select the teams that they wish to follow.

Ed Wilson, Account Manager at CricHQ, said: “We’re delighted to have agreed the partnership with a progressive county like Warwickshire CCC. It’s another great opportunity to showcase how CricHQ’s digital platform enhances the cricketing experience for players, fans & administrators.

“That Warwickshire have moved to provide this technology to their cricketing community is further evidence of their commitment to progressing the game and CricHQ’s standing as the leading digital partner of choice globally.”
