The next meeting of the Midlands Branch of the Cricket Society takes place at Edgbaston on Tuesday 24 January with former Hampshire Cricketer, Andrew Murtagh confirmed as guest speaker.

Born in Dublin, Murtagh enjoyed a five-year First Class career with Hampshire and Eastern Province and is now a much acclaimed author, having written biographies on George Chesterton, John Holder, Barry Richards and Tom Graveney. He is also uncle to current Middlesex and Ireland Fast Bowler Tim Murtagh.

Starting at 8pm, Warwickshire Members, friends and guests are most welcome to attend but are asked to contribute to the raffle.
